How Students Should Use This Information
Nothing here is meant to contradict or override course requirements for other classes or professors.
Welcome, students who are taking one of my classes. I provide information on this website to supplement the information provided to you in your Blackboard class. The information and examples provided here are for general information to assist you in classes Scott Lorenz is teaching. Not every professor teaches the same way or has the exact requirements as I do. The methods and examples I provide here are designed according to my preferences when teaching the subject matter. So when taking courses with other professors, follow that professor's instructions, meet their requirements, and respect their preferences. There is more than one way to teach a class or particular assignment. Having a diversity of styles and preferences presented by professors is a good thing. It provides students with more than one style or method for learning and completing assignments.
So, abide by the following guidelines when using the information I provide here.
Follow the rules of the class or professor teaching the class you are taking.
Different doesn't automatically mean better or worse when it comes to course requirements.
Learn to appreciate different teaching styles and adapt to the requirements of the particular course you are taking.
Refer to your current Blackboard course or your current instructor for instructions, due dates, styles, and submission requirements.
