Excellent discussion by everyone on DNA and trash and privacy. Thus the nagging and sometimes confusing question...can police dig through your trash without a warrant?

Okay, so prepare to judge me, but I am okay with that.

I dug through a lot of trash as a police officer. It is not something that I enjoy. When police do it, it is for good reason. I created the following explanation on my website back in January as this became a hot topic.
